A quiet weekend in the country becomes an impossible dream for the bohemian Bliss family-novelist David Bliss and his retired actress wife, Judith-when their equally eccentric children descend with guests of their own. Highly comedic "drama" ignites, egos erupt and tempers flare in this frothy comedy classic.

New England audiences know what they’re in for at a Jack Babineau show: natural talent and unrestrained energy. He began playing out professionally at the age of seventeen as a solo acoustic performer and recorded his first CD of original music in 2010 - which included the participation of legendary blues harpist, James Montgomery. In his strong, soulful voice, you can pick up strains of DMB, The Rolling Stones, The Allman Brothers, and Johnny Cash.

ART + MUSEUMS, CLASSES + WORKSHOPS, LECTURES + TALKS
Mixed Magic Theatre Presents it's Seventh Annual Gospel Concert In 2007, Mixed Magic Theatre formed the Exult Choir with a mission to preserve and celebrate the great American tradition of gospel music. Each year since then the choir has presented a concert event that featured a collection of songs that included Negro spirituals, traditional hymns, and the gospel music that will later influence blues, rhythm and blues and rock music. The concert also featured selections from the world music genre including songs made popular by the Soweto Gospel Choir from South Africa. This year music director Kim Morrison Pitts-Wiley has chosen a variety of songs that cover the full spectrum of gospel music as well as several contemporary songs with a spiritual flare. And as usual, the show will feature several special guest gospel singers from Rhode Island. Donald Gerola is a renown sculptor whose work has appeared in museums and public places around the world. He has created an outdoor sculpture garden featuring colorful and elegant metal sculptures, some of them more than twenty feet tall. The sculptor garden will be a backdrop for an exciting evening of beautiful and powerful music. Guests bring their own lawn chairs for this event. The first 100 advance tickets sold will be entered into a raffle to win a pair of 2014-2015 season passes.
