No need to drive from store to store, this show is one-stop browsing for appliances, zone heating systems and everything in between. Includes seminars on wall treatments, gardening, maintaining a lawn, building a log home and more. Through January 31.

6 The Spring Bull Gallery offers “Fakes and Forgeries,” with interpretations by local artists of old and new masters. Some are tongue in cheek; some are very good copies. Opening night is Saturday, February 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. and the show is also part of Newport’s Gallery Night on Thursday, February 11, when Newport’s art galleries all remain open until 8 p.m. The exhibition runs until February 28. 18 Gardening tips in February? The annual Rhode Island Spring Flower and Garden Show is an indoor event that will help get you ready for planting season. Its spectacular 150,000-square-foot setting (Rhode Island Convention Center, Providence, 272-0980, flowershow.com) with its “Timeless Gardens” theme will give you tips and tools on organic gardening. Other highlights include demonstrations and lectures by gardening experts, exquisite floral arrangements by Federation of Garden Clubs and professionals to help design your own garden are all well worth the trip. Come stroll by and bring your outdoor dreams to reality. Experience garden displays and take in the waterfall building contest. Shop the Garden Shop for everything outdoorsy from fresh-cut flowers to patios and then revive yourself at the Garden Café. Friday, March 5, noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adults $10 and children under 12 are free. Through March 7.
26 For any kind of house project, the Rhode Island Home Show — the oldest and largest home show in Southern New England — is the perfect place to start (Rhode Island Convention Center, Providence, 458-6000, ribahomeshow.com). Find out about home-building and remodeling trends and how to make your home more energy efficient. Attend seminars on hiring a contractor and enjoy live cooking demos by Newport chefs. Many green products will be on display including green literature in the Green Pavilion. Thursday and Friday 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Adults $10 and children ages 6 to 12 $3. children, ages 5 and under are free. Through March 29.
