Westside Thursdays

Through July and August Providence’s Armory District will be the place to while away your Thursday evenings, with six free concerts at Dexter Training Ground. It might even stop raining for some of them.
Hosted by that fine organization the West Broadway Neighborhood Association, the concerts run from 6 to 8 p.m. Tonights’s is swing and big band from the Night Life Orchestra, a 14-piece ensemble. Food vendors will be there, and dancing is strongly encouraged.
