WSO continues our 2019-2020 Season with a program of seasonal favorites for all! With our diverse membership ages of thirteen-years-old to eighty-years-old, WSO will present a holiday pops event in two communities this December, with interactive opportunities for our audience. That’s right…get your voice pipes tuned up and ready to sing-a-long!

Concert Number One
Thursday- December 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Pilgrim Senior Center: 27 Pilgrim Parkway, Warwick

Second Concert:

Sunday- December 15 at  3 p.m.
St. Francis Church Hall: 128 High Street, Wakefield

A Carol Festival (Sing-A-Long)- Traditional/Ades, arranger
Cantique de Noel/O Holy Night- Adam/Custer, arranger
The Christmas Song- Torme and Wells/Lowden, arranger
The First Noel- Traditional/Flauding, arranger
March of the Toys from “Babes in Toyland”- Herbert/McAlister, arranger
People, Look East- A Christmas Fantasy based on the Besancon Tradition- Myers

Providence Ballet Theatre’s production of Twas the Night Before Christmas returns! Inspired by Clement Clarke Moore’s classic poem, the stage is transformed with visions of Sugar Plums, swirling snow, and a magical appearance by jolly St. Nick! A cast of professional dancers and local children create a fun-filled holiday performance that is perfect for all ages.

Spoken Story Saturdays kicks off with a Pop-Up Showcase on Saturday, December 21 at the Parlour Pub in Providence.
There will be two shows: Family Friendly and fourteen and Up with a variety of storytelling, spoken word and poetry.
