The Craft Screening and Q and A @ Greenwich Odeum | East Greenwich | Rhode Island | United States

Join us for a special screening of The Craft, Grand Prize winner at the 2019 Rhode Island International Film Festival. The Craft offers a behind-the-scenes look into Rhode Island’s booming craft beer industry that examines this rich subject matter from a variety of angles and perspectives. It delves into the personal histories and career paths of a number of our state’s most well-known brewers, the history of Rhode Island’s oldest and still-beloved “craft” brand, Narragansett Beer, the industry’s growing impact on our state’s economy and recent legislative changes that have supported this growth, and, of course, the ins and outs of the brewing process itself.

Attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in RI craft beer as well as partaking in a Q and A session with a number of RI’s brewers as well as the filmmakers following the screening.

Come join us for a magical holiday matinee screening of the Polar Express!

Santa Claus does not exist. Or does he? For one doubting boy, an astonishing event occurs. Late on Christmas Eve night, he lies in bed hoping to hear the sound of reindeer bells from Santa’s sleigh. When to his surprise, a steam engine’s roar and whistle can be heard outside his window. The conductor invites him on board to take an extraordinary journey to the North Pole with many other pajama-clad children. There, he receives an extraordinary gift only those who still believe in Santa can experience.

Admissions @ The Gamm Theatre | Warwick | Rhode Island | United States

Sherri Rosen-Mason, head of the admissions department at a New England prep school, is intent on diversifying the student body. Alongside her husband, the school’s headmaster, she’s been largely successful. But when the couple’s only son sets his sights on an Ivy League university, progressive values and self-interest collide with shocking results. This biting comedy-drama by the author of Bad Jews and Significant Other explodes the ideals and contradictions of “liberal” white America.
