The Summer of Champagne and Lilly Pulitzer in Watch Hill
The latest attractions at the Ocean House and Watch Hill Inn involve a Secret Garden bar serving Veuve Clicquot and a suite starring the iconic preppy resort wear brand.

In Watch Hill, Taylor Swift is taking a backseat to the latest news out of the Ocean House and Watch Hill Inn. Exciting changes are afoot at both properties, and they involve two of our favorite things: Lilly Pulitzer and Champagne.
Lilly Pulitzer Suite at Watch Hill Inn
First off, we know New Englanders love their Lilly. It’s as clear as the pastel floral and lime green and pink paisley prints that proliferate at Newport Polo and Ocean State weddings. Now Lilly fans can surround themselves in prints from the resort wear brand by booking the Lilly Pulitzer Suite at the Watch Hill Inn.
This one-bedroom suite is completely decked out in Lilly Pulitzer designs including hand-painted canvases, shell accent mirrors, custom Lilly Pulitzer printed bedding, pillows, curtains and more. All that’s missing is a closet full of Lilly for you and your friends to wear around the water view accommodations. (But for a matching Lilly wardrobe, you can simply wander down to 31 Bay Street in Westerly to check out Lilly Pulitzer’s first company store in the area). Suite guests will also be treated to Lilly Pulitzer beach totes, and four limited edition Lilly Pulitzer x Martone bikes will be available for leisurely rides. Reservations are now open for summer 2017 bookings.
If that’s not enough Lilly for you, head to the inn’s Lilly Pulitzer cabanas, designed in the iconic chic prints of the season, which include custom accent pillows and towels.
Ocean House Secret Garden Bar and Lounge

All fans of Champagne (and really, who isn’t?) can then hop, skip and jump over to the Ocean House to check out its new Secret Garden Bar and Lounge, which just opened last weekend in time for Memorial Day.
The attractions include a portfolio of Veuve Clicquot Champagnes, featuring Veuve Clicquot Rich, the newest bubbly from the renowned brand. Guests can also indulge in a small bites menu (truffle popcorn, mini gourmet hot dogs — including a Rhode Island wiener and a seafood dog — cheese and charcuterie, and a lobster salad roll) created by the resort’s culinary team. There’s an impressive array of decadent desserts, including housemade French macarons, a citrus fruit tart and a strawberry vanilla cupcake, that pair well with Champagne.
We’ll toast to that! Extra points if you wear your Lilly to the Champagne lounge.
