Storytellers Return for Funda Fest 14

Rhode Island Black Storytellers are holding performances around Rhode Island from January 15 to 22.

The storytelling rhythms and poetry of Funda Fest 14 are coming to Rhode Island soon.

From January 15 through 22, Rhode Island Black Storytellers (RIBS) are holding live performances around the state as part of the festival. Funda Fest will feature family storytelling events, workshops, open mics and performances honoring the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil rights activists at the Providence Children’s Museum. (Funda means to teach and learn in Swahili, according to RIBS’s Facebook page.)
