Roller Derby is back, and now for Tea Partiers!

…well, ok, not that kind of Tea Partier. (Do we have many of those in Rhode Island?) It’s just going to be fun to see the Providence Roller Derby girls kick some British butt.
That’s right, London Brawling are coming to test their mettle against the RI Riveters on Sunday, April 18, at 3 p.m. at the Providence Convention Center. Time for some good clean girl-on-girl athleticism tinged with violence, plus a raffle for Day One RI, the Extraordinary Rendition Band at halftime, and Civil War reenactment-themed costumes to add yet more richness to the usual ripped-fishnet ethos. Tickets are $10 online, $13 at door, a bargain for so much spectacle.
