Remembering the Victims of the Station Nightclub Fire
Family and friends are still fundraising in hopes of building a proper memorial.
Today marks the twelfth anniversary of the Station Nightclub fire. We remember the 100 people who died and the 200 people injured on Feb. 20, 2003 in the fourth-deadliest nightclub fire in United States history. Family and friends are still fundraising in hopes of building a proper memorial on the land that was acquired on Sept. 28, 2012 by the Station Fire Memorial Foundation, known as the Station site.
If you’d like to help fund the memorial, you can donate online to the Station Fire Memorial Foundation. There will also be a memorial service scheduled soon. It was recently postponed due to weather, but you can get an update on the service by checking the Twelfth Annual Station Fire Memorial Service Facebook page.
