Letters: Reporter Love, Leading Women, Sierra Barter

Rhode Island Monthly readers weigh in.

Current, April

Tonight I read in the April issue about Steve Brosnihan starting the flashing lights at 8:30 p.m. for the Hasbro kids and it moved me so much that he has done this wonderful thing for sick kids.

I think that he and others should try to get people to start this in other state capitals.

Thank you, Steve, for this wonderful gesture.

Reporter and Dining Out, April

Great as always, particularly Ellen Liberman's column.

I also enjoyed the review of Milk Money restaurant. My son owns it.

Leading Women Awards, April

What a pleasant surprise seeing two of my mentors in Rhode Island Monthly magazine! Congratulations Gail and Kathy on being honored as female leaders in our community. You both have inspired me and helped shape who I am today.

Sierra Barter Wants to Get Connected, April

You guys, Dee Dee [the dog] made her Rhode Island Monthly debut!

Thank you to the Rhode Island Monthly team and my friends and family who were interviewed for the thoughtful and kind article — especially Paul Kandarian whom I had the pleasure of getting to know while doing this article. The Lady Project is very lucky to have the Rhode Island Monthly team in our corner — thank you for this incredible opportunity for us to show off our work.
