Industrial Evolution

The Sharpe Building came alive as 1,000 people flocked to the former tool factory for the Providence Preservation Society’s Winter Bash. The historic building, which is part of the Foundry complex, is in the early stages of a major renovation. Revelers mingled, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in hand, and took in the architectural splendors of the space: exposed brick, soaring ceilings and magnificent windows. All told, the party netted $60,000 for the Society’s advocacy initiatives and education programs.
