I HEART Providence

This was really fun last year, and it’s happening again on Thursday: Connect Providence’s February love letter to the city, I HEART PROVIDENCE, held at City Hall.
Here’s the press release for this year’s love fest:

Providence, will you be our Valentine? Celebrate your love for Providence at our largest gathering of the year…

Hosted by Mayor David N. Cicilline
Thursday, Feb. 11th, 6-8pm
City Hall, Providence

Enjoy Japanese/Mexican fused Love Dumplings by Ebisu and El Rancho Grande. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres by Hudson Street Deli. Three cash bars, featuring I HEART PROVIDENCE martinis, by the Rhode Island Convention Center. Desserts by Cutie Pies, Sin and Tip C Cupcakes. Live music by Miss Wensday & The New Medicinals. Fine-tune your Providence history with Quahog.org. Unique clothing by Queen of Hearts.

On-site art display created by YOU in collaboration with Photobooth Planet and New Urban Arts. Give your heart to Providence!

In partnership with One Financial Plaza (Providence’s second tallest building, aka the Hospital Trust Building), local artist Carla Ricci will brighten the Providence skyline by arranging lights from the building’s windows to create an oversized heart from the 17th-22nd floor.
Your beacon to the party.

After party will take place from 8:30pm until ? at Aspire Restaurant.
