Humpback Whale Washes Up On Block Island

A deceased juvenile whale came ashore this week, according to the Block Island Conservancy.

Unfortunately, a deceased juvenile humpback whale washed up at Block Island's Clay Head Preserve this week, according to the Block Island Conservancy. Mystic Aquarium will visit the island to measure the animal and look for information which might be helpful in determining the cause of death.
