Hey, Ladies!

It had never dawned on me to synch my pampering routine with my cocktail habit, but I have to say I’m intrigued by all of the “girls’ night out” events that have been popping up on our online calendar lately.

Back in the spring, Waterplace posted its Wednesday ladies night special featuring free manicures and $5 martinis. Then, recently, Twist on Angell promoted the same deal, plus discounted appetizers. Aspire recently topped both, offering not only discounted martinis and free manicures, but also chick flicks on plasma TVs and chair massages on Monday nights from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

I was skeptical at first (okay, it all seemed a little too Sex and the City for me), but I have to admit that a cocktail, massage and manicure for the price of a drink might just be the best remedy there is for the Monday blues.
