Bowen’s Wharf Annual Seafood Festival
Have your pick of the sea and indulge in Rhode Island’s best seafood dishes. Beneath the Wharf’s colorful tents, guests can munch on delicious clam cakes, scallops, fish tacos, lobster rolls, fried calamari and more. Additional food including fresh smoothies, doughnuts, kettle corn and more is available for kids and landlubbers alike. Plus, sip a cold brew from Whaler’s Brewing and listen to the tunes of live music. Proceeds from festival bars benefit Oliver Hazard Perry, Rhody’s 200-foot official sailing education vessel.

Exeter Fall Festival
Welcome the autumn season with a family fun fall festival! Enjoy a hayride, paint a pumpkin, play carnival games, find a new read at the book sale and much more. Plus, munch on sweets from the bake sale and find your favorite food from one of the food vendors. Donations benefit the Exeter Public Library.

Festival of Children’s Books and Authors
Bookworms and budding authors can spend a day listening to thirty minute presentations from nationally acclaimed authors and illustrators, get their favorite book signed, have a chance to meet the authors and create book making crafts. Plus, guests can grab a bite of delicious food truck fare from the array of food trucks.

Calf and Cow Family Yoga
Moooove through peaceful yoga flows in the company of baby calves at Wrights Dairy Farm. Yogis and their families are invited to a forty-five minute beginner yoga class that will be guided by the dairy farm cows for a unique, zenful experience. After the session, guests can enjoy fall flavored snacks and graze the beautiful dairy farms to see cows being milked.

Maize Flashlight Night
Guests of all ages can take twilight hayrides around the grounds of Confreda Greenhouses and Farms, find their way through the corn maze by flashlight and munch on s’mores (and sip cider!) accompanied by spooky ghost stories by the fire.
