Creedence Clearwater Revisited, founded by Creedence Clearwater Revival bassist Stu Cook and drummer Doug “Cosmo” Clifford, is making its way to little Rhody. Rock out with Clifford, Cook, Dan McGuinness, Kurt Griffey and Steve Gunner to some oldies but goodies. Favorites include “Fortunate Son,” “Travelin’ Band” and many more.

Wickford Art Festival

Calling all artists and art patrons! Visit one of New England’s longest running, outdoor and fine art festivals. Every summer during this annual festival, guests can experience the creativity of Rhode Island and even purchase some of the artwork on display. Fine art media will include oil, acrylic, pastel, mixed-media, glass, drawing, etching, sculpture, photography, modern ink and fiber mediums. Plus, festival fare will be provided by several of Wickford’s restaurants and free shuttles and handicap parking will be available.

PVD Restaurant Weeks

Providence is a booming culinary capital, and with nearly 100 restaurants participating in this weeks-long event, it is truly something you don’t want to miss! Foodies and picky eaters alike can choose from mouth-watering menu options at restaurants including Chez Pascal, Red Stripe, Capriccio and many more. Three-course lunches will be offered for $16.95 and three-course dinner options will cost diners $29.95-$34.95.

Providence Flea

Every Sunday, the vendors and food trucks of Rhode Island come together along the Providence River to sell items including vintage clothing, records, magazine posters and more. Listen to the tunes of live music or make your silliest face during some photoshoot fun. This Sunday, Mint Jewelry is hosting a pop up shop at the market, where they will be bring all of the sparkly jewels!

Barrel of Laughs Comedy: Ray Harrington

We all need a good laugh to end a long work week, so why not end it with Ray Harrington at Newport Vineyards’ Brix Restaurant? Ray Harrington is a renowned comedian who has performed around the world with his notoriously hilarious and smart-alecky material, improvising and absurd smile that will be sure to put a smile (and a few laughs in your belly) on your own face! Wine, beer, sangria and light bites will be available for purchase during the event.
