Green Animals Children’s Party

Rain or shine, magic will be abound at the Green Animals Topiary Garden this weekend. Children can enjoy pony rides, games, a rock climbing wall, crafts and so much more at this whimsical Victorian estate. Walk among the beautiful flowers and the immaculately hedged  topiary animals. There are over eighty pieces of topiary designs throughout the gardens. How many can you spot?

Newport All Charity Day Polo Match

For the third year in a row, join the Newport International Polo Series for their All Charity Day Benefit Match. Put on your best dress (or tie!), watch fast-paced polo action, sip on a cocktail (or two!) and stomp the divots. The six-chukker match will feature two local competing teams. All proceeds from ticket sales of this event will go towards the  participating non-profit organizations.

Watson Farm Artists Meetup

What better way to find artistic inspiration than being surrounded  by other artists on a gorgeous seaside farm in South County? The Watson Farm Artists Meetup is a chance for artists with mediums of all kinds – from drawing to photography to painting – to come together, collaborate and encourage each other’s creativity. You bring your art supplies and talent, and Watson Farm will provide inspirational vistas and vignettes. Attendees are also encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and take a self-guided tour around the farm. Registration is recommended.

Full Moon Food Truck Night

PVD Food Truck Events and Mulligan’s Island are coming together for a family fun night of food, drink and activities. Quench your thirst at the beer and wine garden, munch on food truck fare from several different trucks and play a round or two of mini-golf. Even when the sun sets the fun won’t stop because the Super Fun Activities Club has some glow in the dark games on deck. Picnic tables will be available, but attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs, too.

Sarah Potenza at The Purple Cat Winery and Brewery

Sarah Potenza left “the Voice” as a top twenty finalist and has since been making her mark in the world of roots, rock and blues from her new home base in Nashville. Her debut album Monster is rising up on the Americana Radio charts and it has been met with rave reviews. Hear her live and rock out all night long.
