12/17 Lifelong Learners: Museum From Top to Bottom

Why: Explore the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium’s archives and collection storage vaults. The two-hour-long tour is led by docent Mike McGinity. Visitors will learn more about the museum and the fascinating collections stored there. Note: This is an adults-only event.

Why: Treat yourself to wine and cheese while painting a whimsical winter-themed scene, perfect as a gift for a loved one or for yourself. The Ocean House will provide paints, brushes and a small canvas to create your own seasonally inspired work of art. The director of art education at Ocean House, Lisa Szaro, will also be on hand for some artistic guidance.
