Musical: Little Shop of Horrors
KP Drama and producer Joseph Ferreira present the hit Howard Ashman and Alan Mencken musical Little Shop of Horrors, a story of desperation, poverty, fame and fortune, and a voracious, monstrous man-eating plant – just in time for the holidays! Based on the 1960 schlock horror film of the same name directed by Roger Corman, Little Shop is produced in partnership with Music Theatre International of New York.
Performances are Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 9 at 2 p.m. Iin the Grady Theatre at King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham, MA. Enjoy memorable musical numbers such as “Skid Row,” “Feed Me,” “Be A Dentist,” and “Suddenly Seymour” all of which combine to get toes tapping and to make audiences look at their house plants (and perhaps even their dentist!) with a certain amount of suspicion. Melissa Taddeo and Ryan DeWolfe direct this production with choreography by the regionally renowned Lennie Machado. Start your holidays in a decidedly unusual fashion by joining us December 7 – 9, but remember, don’t feed the plants.
