Free Program! The Spanish Flu and the First World War – both were decimating the people of the United States one hundred years ago. Please join the Beacon Pole Hill Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution for a discussion of the connections between the Influenza of 1917-1918 and the WWI Armistice. Many families lost members to one or both of these events. What happened to your family in 1917-1918? Refreshments will follow. Presenter: Cheryl Alger, Beacon Pole Hill Chapter Treasurer.
