October is book sale month at Rochambeau Library
Sponsored by the Friends of Rochambeau Library.
Need to find a home: 15,000 newly donated, gently used books, curated by our wonderful volunteers and sorted into over fifty categories (biography, history, sports, art, architecture, poetry, fiction, mystery, parenting, children’s, music, math, religion, psychology, classics, nature, science, film, women’s, etc.)
Priced at $1. Children’s books are fifty cents
Rare books, first editions, special art and architecture volumes are sold in our Specials area and are priced higher.
Dates: October 21- 26
Preview/Dealers’ Nite on Monday Oct 21 4- 8 p.m. (For those who want first chance to look and purchase- there is a $30 fee to enter.)
Friends Nite on Tuesday Oct 22. Renew or join at the door.
Open to the public Wednesday through Saturday Oct 23-26.
Wed 10-5:30, Thurs 1-8:30, Friday and Sat 1-5 p.m. Fill-a-bag $5 each.
Bring your own bags or have some of ours.
The semi annual Book Sales are the major fundraiser for the Friends of Rochambeau- a 501c3 corporation. All proceeds are used to support acquisitions, museum passes, programs etc at Rochambeau and other PCL branches.
