Cranston, Mulligan’s Island, 8/11
At Food Truck Night at Mulligan’s Island in Cranston, you can eat dinner from one of the many food trucks and play mini golf or hit a few rounds in the batting cages. The event takes place from 5–9:30 p.m., and beer and wine will be available for purchase from Mulligan’s Island Golf and Entertainment and Gooseneck Vineyards. Free admission to the event; food and attractions are separate pricing. Enjoy the tables, chairs and the lawn, but bring blankets and folding chairs just in case.
Providence, Roger Williams Park Carousel Village, Every Friday
Food Truck Friday is back at Roger Williams Park Zoo and Carousel Village for the fourth season, brought to you by PVD Food Truck Events and sponsors. Starting at 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. every Friday through September 28, Rhode Island’s best food trucks will serve all kinds of eats from tacos and burgers to other treats, alongside local beer from Trinity Brewhouse, wines from Gooseneck Vineyards and live music. There are also many activities for the kids: go for a carousel ride for $2, jump in the bounce house for $3, take a ride on the Carousel Train for $3, or ride a camel for $6. Hasbro’s Boundless Playground is also on site for more free fun. Picnic and high-top tables are available on a limited basis, so bring a chair or blanket and sit on the lawn. Providence, Skyline at Waterplace, 7/26, 8/30
Hang out with some great food trucks in Providence on two monthly nights at Skyline at Waterplace in Providence. This event is held the last Thursday of each month, on July 26 and August 30 from 5:30–8 p.m. Admission is free. Food trucks accept cash, credit or debit. Lincoln, Chase Farm, 7/22, 7/28, 8/18, 8/25
Food Truck Concert Nights are coming up at Chase Farm in Lincoln. Dates and hours vary, but here’s the lineup: Sunday, July 22 from 4–8 p.m.; Saturday, July 28 from 5–8:30 p.m.; Saturday, August 18 from 5–8 p.m.; and Saturday, August 25 from 5–8 p.m. Local food trucks will serve all kinds of eats from tacos and burgers to other treats. Bring a chair or blanket, or sit on the lawn. Food trucks accept cash, credit and debit. Food truck nights are coming to Scituate for four more Wednesday nights this summer at the North Scituate Gazebo. Visit on Wednesdays, July 18, August 1, August 15 or August 29 from 5–8 p.m. Come out with your family and friends for a perfect summer night, and choose from more than ten of your favorite local food trucks. Maybe even eat at multiple trucks. Food trucks accept cash, credit or debit. In addition to eating your heart out, listen to some live music by the Billy Harpin Band on July 18, the RI Rednecks on August 1, Dukes of Dixie on August 15 and Nightlife Orchestra on August 29. South Kingstown, Sons of Liberty Beer and Spirits Co., 8/9, 9/13
Food Truck Night visits Sons of Liberty on a monthly basis, on August 9 and Sept. 13 from 5:30–8 p.m. Enjoy your food and beverages outside with the food trucks or head inside and take advantage of the seating throughout the tasting rooms. The Sons of Liberty tasting room is twenty-one-plus after 5 p.m., but children and families are welcomed and encouraged to attend and enjoy the food trucks outdoors and other outside activities. Eat from your favorite local food truck, try something new or maybe even eat at multiple trucks. The trucks accept cash, credit or debit. Live entertainment will be provided at each event and will include John Fanning and the Curators, Audio Revival and others! Summer concerts and food trucks are returning to Burr’s Hill Park in Warren. Enjoy live music and munch on fare from a variety of food trucks on July 25, July 29, August 8 and August 19. You can walk, bike, jog or drive to join ten or more food and retail trucks right off of the East Bay Bike Path. Come out with your family and friends for a fun summer night. Wednesday events begin at 5:30 p.m. while Sunday events commence at 5 p.m. Experience an array of some of the greatest savory and sweet food trucks. Food trucks accept cash, credit or debit.
