Cocktail Culture

Experience the taste and feel for historic New England at Linden Place.

The cocktail culture began when Colonial New England was awash in beers, wines, ciders and spirits. The newfound cultivation was a direct reflection on the New World’s raw materials such as sugar, apples, wild berries and molasses. Experience the taste and feel for historic New England at Linden Place with author Corin Hirsch, as she takes you back in time to learn about the range of beverages early Americans used to drink through a tasting, lecture and book signing. Hirsch is the author of “Forgotten Drinks of Colonial New England,” and has worked as a food and drink journalist at various publications.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. on April 7. General admission tickets are $20. Linden Place members can purchase tickets for $15. Space is limited. For more information and ticket purchasing, call 401-253-0390 or click here.
