By the Numbers: StyleWeek Northeast

Rhode Island's biannual fashion week returns September 19 through 22.

StyleWeek Northeast is bringing the catwalk back to the capital for its fifteenth season and eighth year of fashion, held September 19–22 at the Rhode Island Convention Center. The stylish series of events returns with professional runway shows featuring the spring 2019 collections of twelve designers from all over the country, including Peach Carr, Born Again Vintage, Clothes Horse Clothing, Zoe Grinfeld and handbag mastermind Kent Stetson, who will present the closing night show using drones as models.

The student design fashion show challenge, SEED: Innovation Meets Education, is scheduled for opening night, September 19. This time around, preteens ages seven to eleven will rule the runway, each creating a three-piece collection that will be judged by industry experts.

Arrive early each night for cocktail hour and shop the accessory showcase, which will be transformed into a Pantone color story by Uniquely Chic Vintage. Local vendors will be on hand selling everything from jewelry and clothing to handbags and body products. Get yourself runway-ready and enjoy the shows.
