5 Great Reasons to Check Out the Urban Vintage Bazaar

From coats to toys, linens to vinyl, more than eighteen vendors will be on hand.

Whether you like vintage books, boots or records, you can find plenty to love at the Urban Vintage Bazaar. This Saturday, more than eighteen vendors including Carmen and Ginger, White Buffalo, NAVA, Embassy Antiques and more will be selling clothing, accessories, housewares, collectibles, holiday decor and more during this free event at the Arcade.

Here are five great reasons to check it out:

  1. Get your Halloween costume. Procrastinate no more. Browse the selection of men’s, women’s and kids’ clothing and accessories and put together an original ensemble for way less than it would cost in a party store. Here are some ideas.

  2. Pick out an original winter coat. The cold is coming, and vendors like Archetype Vintage and Carmen and Ginger have plenty of options to keep you warm and stylish all winter.

  3. Indulge your love of vinyl. An entire room at the event will be dedicated to music fans with vendors like Uptown Vinyl.

  4. Knock out some holiday shopping. Introduce your favorite child to the pre-electronic toys, like these Fisher Price gems from Infectious Fun Toys. Or present your favorite scribe with a great writing instrument from Neil’s Pens.

  5. Help support kitties. Part of each vendor’s proceeds will go toward the Forgotten Cat, a nonprofit organization that helps educate people on how to help care for and stop the growth of the feral cat population.

Urban Vintage Bazaar will take place Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free. The Arcade, 65 Weybosset St., Providence, facebook.com/UrbanVintageBazaar.
