Why did you choose medicine as a career?

I truly enjoy biology and it is gratifying to help my patients.

 

So, why did you choose your particular specialty?

I like a combination of dealing with medical problems. I also like to take care of pregnancy including the complexities of fetal and maternal conditions.

 

What has practicing medicine taught you about yourself and your patients?

In relation to my patients, it gives me a high regard for the complex experience of pregnancy. For myself, well, I find myself gratified to take care of these patients.

 

What are your other interests? What do you do for fun?

I like to sail in local waters around the state but I also sail on voyages to the Caribbean.
