This Five-K course boasts open fields and wooded trail running surrounding a twenty-two acre pond with a minimum of fifteen to twenty obstacles along the way. Whether you choose to walk or run, you will find flat, professionally measured courses providing scenic waterfront views from Allen Harbor in Quonset Point. This is a USATF-Sanctioned event. The courses includes portions of a beautiful, new bike path and the rest is in a low-traffic area.

Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island hosts the second annual Golf Tournament at the Rhode Island Country Club, 150 Nayatt Rd, Barrington on Monday, May 14, 1 p.m. (registration opens at 11:30 a.m.). Guests will enjoy golfing at one of Rhode Island’s premier classic golf courses along beautiful Narragansett Bay while celebrating the power of the Make-A-Wish mission with some of the region’s top business and philanthropic leaders. The Tournament features fun and friendly competition on the course, followed by a cocktail reception, refreshments, and celebration of the Make-A-Wish mission. Funds raised will help grant the heartfelt wishes of Rhode Island children, between the ages of 2.5 to 18, diagnosed with a critical illness.
