The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The brunch includes an assortment of salads, a selection of pastry options, an international cheese display, a fresh seasonal fruit medley, a breakfast buffet stocked with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, apple crepes with caramel sauce, a Belgian waffle station, a seafood station with smoked and chilled seafood, plus a station of entrees and sides including roasted pork loin, chicken Tuscan, stuffed shells, baked scrod and more. Start off the day with a daily scone, yogurt parfait or mixed greens salad, followed by choices like the Portuguese sweet bread French toast, Eggs Bun-a-Duck or one of the popular crepes like the Chubby Ella (Banana and Nutella). There are three seatings at 9 a.m, 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Each seating will allow one-and-a-half hours to one-hour-and-forty-five minutes for guests to dine and enjoy. The Ocean House has several Mother’s Day options available, including the Buffet in the Ballroom, a Mother’s Day Tea and dinner in Coast. For the buffet, available from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the seaside ballroom, families can feast on traditional brunch favorites, antipasto and eggs Benedict stations, fresh local seafood and much more, plus a selection of petite sweets from a dessert display. 13. Pot au Feu
Jac and Co, also known as Jacques and Corinne, is a French musical duo returning to Pot au Feu in providence for the annual Mother’s Day dinners and brunch. The French accordionist, Jacques, returns with his lifelong muse and singer, Corinne, for an intimate concert coupled with a three-course dinner with wine on Friday, May 11, and Saturday, May 12, both at 7:30 p.m. The Friday performance is best for jazz lovers, while Saturday includes an Edith Piaf tribute by Corinne. The duo returns for a French Sunday brunch and live jazz on Sunday, May 13, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Guests will enjoy a performance with a three-course brunch, including options like quiche Lorraine, croissants, croque madame, desserts and more. Harbor Lights on scenic waterfront Warwick Neck is hosting its first annual Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Executive chef Ray Fiske is preparing a ballroom brunch decked out with a fruit, pastry and dessert, antipasto and lox, Belgian waffles, build-your-own-omelets and carving stations featuring prime rib and honey roasted ham.
