Foodworks Incubator Launches in Providence

Providence’s first food incubator and shared commercial kitchen is currently taking applications for food businesses interested in using the space.

Foodworks shared commercial kitchen has opened in Providence. The community-focused culinary incubator and collaborative space is reaching out to entrepreneurs in the food industry. Located at 55 Cromwell Street in the Room and Works building, the kitchen features brand new equipment and high ceilings that bring in a lot of natural light.

Foodworks Providence will provide educational classes and workshops, access to local mentors, rentable spaces for pop-up dinners, food photography space and a place for Providence’s emerging small business owners to pursue their culinary dreams. This beautiful new space will also be available to book for private functions and gatherings.

The first Foodworks location, Foodworks Brooklyn, is a 10,000-square-foot kitchen and commissary space that has helped launch 100-plus businesses in Brooklyn this year.

Providence’s first food incubator and shared commercial kitchen is currently taking applications for food businesses interested in using the shared kitchen space for any packaged food, meal delivery or catering needs, as well as for extra prep space. Foodworks Providence has room for up to fifty food businesses onsite with plans for social and educational events as well. To get a virtual tour, visit thefoodworks.com.
