FLAMES OF HOPE – A WATERFIRE EVENT FOR LIFE

The city of Providence was decked out in pink for this October 7th fundraising event to benefit the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation, created by Gem Plumbing and Heating. The evening included a torch lighting ceremony on the steps of the State House, a VIP reception catered by the Pinelli/Marra Restaurant Group, and a full lighting of WaterFire.

BRIGHTER FUTURES AWARD LUNCHEON

Family Service of Rhode Island held their Brighter Futures Award Luncheon Monday, November 13th at the RI Convention Center. The event, which was sponsored by Rhode Island Monthly, honored The Boston Red Sox, the PawSox, and the Red Sox Foundation for their support of Quanacut House, a group home for abused and neglected boys.
