| Description |
The Rhode Island Blood Center's Pints for Life Walk is focused on raising awareness for blood donation. Our walk will also bring blood donors and blood recipients together. Our honorary walk chairperson, Barbara Morse Silva, consistently demonstrates her commitment to blood donation through her work as health reporter at NBC 10, and co-anchor of the station's morning news program. Check-in is at 8:30AMĀ and the walk begins at 10AM. The walk will begin at our Providence Donor Center, located at 405 Promenade Street, and end at the State House. There is no fee to participate in the walk, but if you raise $50, you will receive a walk t-shirt. All blood recipients receive a special shirt free of charge.
