April 28, 2012 “Dance for a Cure”, a night of Family Fun to benefit LLS – Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of RI.
It seems that ALL of us know someone who has been affected by cancer, and many of us know someone who has been directly affected by Leukemia or Lymphoma. Here’s your chance to help raise awareness and funds to fight this disease while enjoying a night out with the WHOLE FAMILY! Please join us on April 28, 2012 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Pocasset Bay Manor’s main dining hall in their assisted living facility (12 Old Pocasset Lane, Johnston, RI 02919) for a night of ALL AGES FUN! All of your favorite music will be playing, courtesy of DJs Beyond Beats. Light appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages are included with your donation. ALL money raised will be donated directly to LLS through the Man and Woman of the Year Campaign nominee, Karen Dalton. Silent Auction Items, Red Carpet Photos, and a 50/50 Raffle will all be a part of the fundraising efforts for the evening. As a bonus, YOU could win a free dance with Beyond Beats for your school, or organization, just by helping us to raise money for LLS. Tickets are only $8/adults, $4/kids with a maximum donation of $28/family! Tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting Lora LoPiccolo (401)829-9148, or at the door for the same price. Please note, all kids must be accompanied by a chaperone (parent or guardian) for the entire dance please! |
