Description

Providence Arts Club Benefit for Community Preparatory School

Community Preparatory School will hold an art show and reception at Providence Art Club featuring the works of local artist, Robert Cicione of Cicione Studios. Fifty percent of the proceeds raised from the evening will benefit Community Preparatory students.  The event will commemorate the private, independent school’s 25th anniversary of giving students in the Greater Providence area a chance for a better education.

Robert Cicione celebrates more than 28 years as a fine artist. The Rhode Island resident is also a psychotherapist in private practice specializing in resolving emotional trauma. He has exhibited in Manhattan, The Hamptons, Boston and Providence and is represented in collections throughout the United States. Visit www.cicionestudios.com or www.traumareliefunlimited.com for more information.

Community Preparatory School was founded in 1984 by Dan Corley and Bob Hahn to give children in the Greater Providence area a chance for a better education. With 90 percent of students receiving substantial financial aid, Community Prep represents a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds and creates a uniquely diverse and rigorous learning environment for children in grades 3 through 8. More than 92 percent of Community Prep graduates are accepted to college-preparatory high school programs and 82 percent continue onto college. Visit www.communityprep.org for more information.
