Description	The Rhode Island Black Heritage Society cordially invites you to a reception and gala book party in Providence to celebrate the publication of Sissieretta Jones: The Greatest Singer of Her Race by Maureen Lee. Youth education event: 1:30 p.m., RISD Metcalf Auditorium. Reception: 5-6:30 p.m., Loominous Rug Studio, 122 North Main St. Gala book party: 7 p.m., The First Baptist Church in America, 75 North Main St. With remarks from Maureen Lee and selections by Opera singers Julianna Taschinger-Dempsey and Quentin Powell.
Cost	Book $39. Also available for preorder.
