| Description |
Mother’s Day weekend, The State Ballet of Rhode Island, under Artistic Director Herci Marsden, present an around-the-world performance experience – Tour de Ballet. The show marks the world premiere of the musical score, Safari and will be played by a live ensemble. As part of the show, the genres of ballet, tapestry and metal sculpture will depict three different artists’ interpretation of the music "safari." Also being performed from SBRI's repertoire, Ballet Ireland, Tarantella, The Can-Can, Don Quixote Pas de Deux, Vienna Waltz and Polovtsian Dances from Borodin’s Prince Igor. |
