Walking on Water

Riding waves for the past four years, Newport photographer Jason Evans found himself intrigued by the community of surfers who frequent local waters. The result? “Surf Island,” an exhibit of photographs — showing at the Newport Art Museum — capturing these hard-core devotees basking in their natural habitat.

Tues.–Sat. 10 a.m.–4 p.m., Sun. noon–4 p.m. Adults $10, seniors $8, students $6, children younger than five free.
