Ice queens beat the heat.

Cool girlsA volcano kept them from competing in Paris for the International Theatre on Ice gold medal in April, but the thirty-three young skaters of Ocean State Ice Theatre haven’t missed a step, heading to Ohio this month to vie for the national title with a “ballet on ice” version of The Lion King. See them at home when they take the ice at Smithfield Municipal Rink on June 12 to raise money for the American Diabetes Association. Find more info at oceanstateicetheatre.com.
