A Good Grilling
Mayor David Cicilline was the butt of many a joke at the Fund for Community Progress’s annual roast at Rhodes-on-the-Pawtuxet. His staff members, Trinity Rep’s Curt Columbus, even his own mother, Sabra Cicilline, took shots, chiding the mayor for his high-end wardrobe and horrible driving. Channel 12’s Karen Adams emceed the evening, which netted $35,000 for the Fund, a federation of twenty-six social service agencies that promote change at the grassroots level.
