One mile south of the Visitor's Center on lower Thames Street, you'll find the best breakfast spot in Newport. Serving breakfast until 2 p.m. daily, Ocean Breeze Cafe offers Belgian waffles, eggs Benedict, omelets, pancakes and eggs.
Lunch includes half-pound hamburgers, chicken, overstuffed sandwiches, salads and soups. The bakery serves gourmet coffees and jumbo fresh-baked muffins, a frequent Rhode Island Monthly 'Best of Rhode Island' winner. Nice children's menu, too.
