National Philanthropy Day

NATIONAL PHILANTHROPY DAY AWARDS

The Association of Fundraising Professionals Rhode Island Chapter honored philanthropists, philanthropic companies, charitable organizations and volunteers at their National Philanthropy Day Awards luncheon, Tuesday, November 21st at the RI Convention Center. The event, sponsored by Rhode Island Monthly, also served as the unveiling of Rhode Island Monthly’s 2007 Social Datebook – a year-long calendar of charitable events.

Linda Newton, Vice President, Community Relations and Employee Services for Blue Cross Blue Shield of RI, presents the award for Outstanding Philanthropic Citizen to Gary St. Peter, president and co-founder of Angel Planes Incorporated.
