7:00 a.m.
Have my first cup of coffee and read the Providence Journal.
8:30 a.m.
Go to the gym and work out on the weight machines at Bally’s.
9:30 a.m.
Head to my old friends Teresa and Steve Palmieri’s Bakery on Federal Hill to have a cappuccino and a bagel and talk over future production projects with my friend—actor and producer Nick Albanese.
10:30 a.m.
Go home to pick up my wife, Donna. Put our two bicycles in my pickup truck, drive to the bicycle path connection in Barrington and ride our bikes to Bristol. We like to walk along the water and enjoy the scenery.
12:30 p.m.
Go into town to grab a sandwich to eat by the shore before we ride back on our bikes.
2:00 p.m.
Stop by the PEG Studio in Providence to help edit my show, “Safe Kids and Friends,” which I write, direct and produce. We’ve been on for two years. Last year it won three awards.
5:30 p.m.
Meet my wife at Angelo’s on the Hill for dinner. As soon as you walk in, you feel welcome. The food is my heritage. I especially like the veal.
7:30 p.m.
Take my dog, Lucy, through the Daggett trail into Slater Park in Pawtucket. She’s part Shar-Pei, part Golden Retriever. We call her a Gold-Pei.
