It's no coincidence that Billy's is tucked away in a residential corner of Barrington given that they seem to be feeding every man, woman and child in town. How do they do it? Father of three Bill Dessel and his cook/sister, Barbara Genetti, know what it takes to build a family affair. A grown-up bar does nothing to detract from an ageless menu that touts everything from burgers and brick-oven pizza to grilled scallops and steak. It doesn't hurt that Billy's has one of the town's most valuable resources: one of Barrington's three liquor licenses (and plenty of Shirley Temples).
