Best of Rhode Island 2009 Editors' Picks

The East Bay collectively rejoiced when Bebop opened with their Mexi-Cali menu and colorful decor. The marinated meats, salsas and guacamole that fill the tacos, burritos and quesadillas are all freshly made, with no transfat or msg, and there's always something on the specials board – like crunchy fish tacos_—that piques our interest. And while we know it's not exactly "authentic," it's still the perfect fare for kicking our nearly weekly craving for some south of the border flavor.
