Best of Rhode Island 2009 Editors' Picks

Tamar Kern, owner of Alloy, has gathered some of the best and brightest designers from her RISD years to display their pieces at her Spring Street store. The dozen or so jewelers and metalsmiths work in silver and gold, precious stones and other materials to make rings, necklaces and earrings. Tamar's own stackable rings, layered necklaces and commissioned pieces alone are worth a visit.
