Tara Siani fell for some vintage curtains and built the decor of her hair and nail salon around them. The curtains fit the space, which had been a beauty salon since the 1950s. She added clean white walls, glossy hardwood floors and mixed eras with a Victorian chandelier and modern Eames chairs and tables. Tucked on the ground floor of a colonial house, with its low ceilings, three stylist chairs and Siani's warmth, the effect is a cozy apartment.
