You don't need to be food obsessed (though who isn't?!) to appreciate Shawn Kenney's work. The RISD alum and foodie has mastered culinary art. Quite literally. Some of Kenney's acrylics transport you to the garden--an avocado split in two, a sliced super ripe tomato; others back to childhood bliss--a package of hot dogs, a jar of Fluff; and still others straight to your favorite liquid fix--be it Dunkin' or a 'Gansett. Not only is Kenney super talented, he's also generous: A portion of his proceeds go to hunger-related charities like Share Our Strength and the Rhode Island Food Bank.
