This venerable island institution is still the best place for one-stop beach shopping on the island, with beach towels, beach toys, shell jewelry, sandals and, of course, Block Island-logo hats, Ts and sweats. It's right opposite the ferry docks in Old Harbor (convenient for picking up last-minute gifts for the dog sitter), a five minute walk from the beach, and kids will love the big selection of clothes, candy and trinkets aimed at them.
