Breakfast, Thy Name Is Gluttony

Sure, you could commit to a bowl of All Bran and some skim milk. But isn’t a healthy dose of cheese and some fried pork the reason life’s worth living?

T's in E.Greenwich and Cranston are consistantly wonderful for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

I have to say that we went to the Blue Cottage on Sunday - looking forward to a really good breakfast. It was a total disappointment! The first thing we noticed was the smell of grease - not the smell of breakfast cooking – and the place only had a few tables that were occupied….
We were tempted to leave - but decided to give it a chance - because of the review. The one waitress that was working seemed aloof and not having a good idea of who ordered or who didn’t….
BIG MISTAKE on giving this place a try! My husband ordered the eggs-Benedict with hash and I had ordered the egg white omelet with ham and cheese.
When the eggs Benedict was served to my husband the waitress had asked me again what I had ordered – stating it would be right up. The eggs Benedict was more like hard boiled eggs with a packaged hollandaise sauce – which was cold along with the cold home fries with hard green peppers throughout…
OK – now the place is starting to fill up – noticing by other people’s discussions that they were there for the first time (probably from reading your review…) and the place is small enough to see what is going on.
My omelet finally came – with the cold home fries – and without the toast. I had to ask for my toast and again was assured that it be right up. Once I got the toast it was – well let’s just say I like by bread toasted – not un-toasted. The bill also had issues – just one total price on the bottom. The prices for each item – was a mystery. Now I am not a chef – but a pretty good home cook. There was no love in the food – or the establishment.
I really have to say that I am surprised to have found this in your review – in the number 3 spot. Was a cash payment given to the person writing this review – Hum…just wondering on the credibility of all your reviews???
