What's the Most Google-d Job in Rhode Island?

Rhode Islanders were very practical in their searches.

What’s your dream job? Maybe you already have it. But some people also like to investigate other opportunities, no matter how fantastical they might seem.

The career advising company Zippia has broken out data state by state to determine the most Google-d occupations. Their findings? Some states are practical: nurse practitioner (Tennessee), school psychologist (Connecticut) and plumber (Maryland).

But residents of other states sought some more action on the job: lion tamer, pirate, tornado chaser. New Yorkers, meanwhile, want to transition into  positions as professional cuddlers. As for Rhode Island, the answer makes perfect sense in a state where people love food. Give up? Restaurant manager.

Zippia also looked at the companies most Google-d state by state. They range from Burt’s Bees to Kraft Foods. What topped company searches in the Ocean State, according to Zippia? Lincoln-based Amica Insurance.
