The 411 on RI Nightlife
It’s easy to dismiss any description of Rhode Island’s nightlife as “happening” –– especially if you’re over the age of 21. But I recently stumbled across a local website that might prove otherwise. Tonightinri.com touts itself as “your one-stop destination for Rhode Island’s expansive nightlife and dining scene.” The jury’s still out on the expansive part, but the rest seems pretty accurate. Every day, the website posts what’s going on at bars and restaurants around the state. Tonight: Karaoke at Bobby G’s Pub in Wakefield and Open Mic Night with Joe Auger at the Everyman in Providence, just to name a couple. You can also get a head start on your weekend plans and check out which nights are the busiest or when you’ll find a more low-key crowd at your favorite spots.

Actually, the "website" does not post what's going on at bars and restaurants, the bars and restaurants do. Each venue on the site has its own username and password and maintains their own page. Any content you see on the site is uploaded, updated and maintained by each bar, club and restaurant. This is a sick site.
And I know that they are adding a lot more venues in the coming weeks and months.
pretty nice site. what took so long to create something like this?
What a useful site!! I think that this needs to expand into bigger states...I know Texas could sure use a tool like this... Great Job to the creators!!
WOW. GREAT site. where did this come from?
